Bella and Will, since I met them, felt steady. Not in a quiet or unassuming way, but in a way that felt grounded. In a way that everything around them could shift and they would still find their way back to each other. A love that doesn’t need to prove itself loudly, because it’s already so certain.
Bella, with a softness that draws you in instantly. A friend to all. The kind of presence that makes people feel comfortable without trying. Will, calm and thoughtful. He has this quiet confidence that shows up in the way he moves through the world. Together, they are so effortless. Nothing feels forced or performative. Just real.
Their wedding day started separately. Bella got ready at her grandma’s house, and it felt like stepping into a memory. The rooms carried this quiet, vintage nostalgia. Soft light spilling through the windows, delicate details, a space that makes everything feel slowed down a little. It was beautiful and personal. The morning felt so intimate there.
Will’s morning had this sense of anticipation, grounded in those there to celebrate. We incorporated this surfboard, shaped by Jack Hannan for Will's grandfather, Dick Bolton. Will is a surfer, through and through, and this wasn’t just a prop. It was a piece of him. Something crafted with care. Photographing him with it felt like capturing his identity, family, and legacy, all at once.
By the time we arrived at the beautiful Old Field Club, everything was coming together. With the breeze coming off the Long Island Sound, the way the light settled over the property. It all felt aligned with them.
Their ceremony carried a depth that’s hard to put into words. Bella and Will honored their daughter, Atlantic, in a way that was both gentle and powerful. A framed photo of her was placed with intention, and quietly present throughout the day. Later, on the dance floor, a song played in her honor. The room shifted in that moment and everyone felt it. It wasn’t heavy, but meaningful. A reminder that love doesn’t disappear, just changes.
And then, just like that, the energy lifted into celebration. Of Atty’s life, and of Bella and Will. The dance floor never emptied. There was this collective joy that felt like a wave everybody was riding together. This sentiment carried throughout the entire day. They’re a couple that makes you believe in something bigger than just chance.
It was so meaningful to be part of this day. It was layered, joyful, emotional, and nostalgic, all at once. This wedding will stay with me. Not because of how it looked, but because of how it felt.
